Embrace Transformation May 31st - June 2nd 2024

  

Join us for an all-inclusive, transformative experience specially designed for the BIPOC community, nestled two hours outside of the DC metro area. Our retreat offers a sanctuary for deep healing and introspection, with individual accommodations & private rooms, ensuring a serene and personal journey.

Logistics

Cost: $2,500 all-inclusive

(Insurance may cover some costs)

Location: A serene retreat center two hours from the DC metro area

Dates: 31 May - 02 June 2024


BOOKING: To express interest, email info@lewiscounseling.org or call us at 202-270-7120. After an initial screening and intake session, a $250 deposit secures your spot, with the balance due by 09 May 2024.


SCHEDULE:

Day 1: Foundation and Exploration

  • Noon: Arrival and settling in.
  • Lunch: Enjoy a nourishing meal as you connect with fellow attendees.
  • Afternoon: Engage in intention-setting and independent work to delve into your personal healing journey.
  • Evening: Group work to foster community connections, followed by dinner and a collective psilocybin session.

 

Day 2: Deepening the Journey & Integration 

  • Morning: Begin with a soothing meditation and sound bath, followed by a revitalizing breakfast.
  • Late Morning: Free time for reflection or nature walks.
  • Midday: Continue with independent work, exploring personal insights and growth, followed by lunch.
  • Afternoon: Participate in group work and engage in healing circles, creating a supportive space for shared healing and understanding.
  • Late Afternoon: Experience the transformative Cacao Healing Circle.
  • Evening: Dinner and time for reflection or informal gatherings.


 Day 3: Farewell

  • Morning: Breakfast and closing circle to integrate the retreat experiences.
  • Departure: Say goodbye to the retreat space and new friends, taking the insights and peace cultivated during your stay.


THERAPEUTIC ELEMENTS 

  • Independent Work: During these sessions, you will be given prompts to further your healing journey. This can include individual therapy or reflective homework. Engaging deeply with these exercises will enrich your experience.


  • Independent Time: This is your personal time to engage in your chosen activities. While you enjoy this freedom, we ask that you always prioritize safety.


  • Group Work: Participation in group activities is mandatory throughout the weekend, offering opportunities to connect, share, and grow collectively. 


  • Healing Circles: Share and witness in a space of empathy and acceptance, promoting collective and individual healing.


  • Mindfulness and Meditation: Ground your experience in the present, cultivating awareness and inner peace.


  • Sound Bath: Experience vibrational healing to harmonize body and mind, enhancing the integration of your journey.


  • Psilocybin Session: Explore your inner landscape through guided psilocybin sessions supported by professional facilitation.


  • Cacao Healing Circle: Open your heart with the gentle guidance of cacao, fostering emotional release and connection.


This retreat offers a holistic approach to healing, blending traditional ceremonies, modern psychotherapy, and community support, all within a BIPOC-focused environment designed to nurture and transform.
